One of Tim's hobbies is Christan apologetics. If you have doubts about the Bible regarding Creation vs Evolution, Noah's Ark, the infallability of scripture, whether or not it can be trusted from a scientific perspective (which it can), etc....check this out! Answers in Genesis has helped Tim resolve many of these questions and solve any apparent "contradictions". The Word of God is rock solid, and though we may not always understand exactly how it all fits together, it contains no contradictions!

National Federation of the Blind
Tim the secretary of the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind for a number of years. The National Federation of the Blind is not an organization speaking for the blind, it is the blind speaking for themselves. It is estimated that about 1.1 million people in the U.S. are blind. Each year 50,000 more will become blind. Studies show that only AIDS and cancer are feared more than blindness. However, blindness need not be the tragedy which it is generally thought to be. If you know anyone who is vision impaired at any level (legally blind), the NFB will introduce them to others who are in a similar situation, help them see that there is much hope and help them get practical skills for orientation, mobility, job training and daily living skills as a blind person.

This is without question the best devotional Tim has ever used. He has read it faithfully for the last 10 years now and the Lord has worked through it to bring about an incredible deepening of his walk with Him. Selwyn Hughes, the author, offers the perspective of a godly man who was a pastor and Christian counselor for many years. He wrote his devotional with the intention of ministering to its readers by bringing them to Jesus for the transforming touch of His power in their lives. BRETT MANNING'S SINGING SUCCESS PROGRAM
Tim has taken vocal lessons from a guy in Nashville named Brett Manning. He's a celebrity vocal coach (Take Six, Keith Urban, Morgan Cryer...) and he has had great results. He started at first, since lessons are quite expensive, by just using Brett's vocal kit called Singing Success and learned a lot from that. The lessons just reinforced what
